The E2E Project
The Education to Employability (E2E) Project, a unique intervention conceptualised by Vikramshila Education Resource Society in the year 2008 with 10 schools in and around Kolkata, now covers nearly 30,000 students in 200 schools across 20 districts of West Bengal. The project aims at bridging the 'aspiration-capability' gap of students of classes IX and X by imparting 'Employability Skills Training' to equip them to make informed career choices on completion of school education. The project focuses on intervention in Communicative English & Soft Skills, Information Technology and Career Awareness building. The implementation follows a 9-step process:
